Kinera YH623 at a glance

Kinera YH623 are in-ear TWS headphones that have dynamic emitters in their arsenal, support aptX, Bluetooth 5.0, have active noise cancellation and moisture protection.

For the best sound, the Kinera YH623 has 6mm drivers. Also, the headphones are equipped with a Qualcomm QCC3020 chip with cVc 8.0 digital noise reduction. The connection takes place via Bluetooth 5.0, and the plus is that both earphones can work separately, that is, completely independently.

As it is already clear from the above, the model works with SBC, AAC and aptX codecs. The Kinera YH623 is waterproof and sweat-proof with IPX5 technology, so they can be used for sports too. The battery life is up to 9 hours, and you can charge the headphones from the case 3 times at 100%! The company also introduced the ability to quickly charge Quick Charge 2.0 - 15 minutes in this mode and the headphones last 2 hours. A useful thing!

Kinera YH623 Design Review

Kinera YH623 are made of high quality plastic (glossy) blue or pink. Hence, a drawback immediately appears - prints and traces remain throughout the case. On the outside, the shape of the earbuds is drop-shaped, in the center is the Kinera logo, and on each earbud there are sensors for controlling the playback of music and movies. Indicators are LED and located above the logo - they show the operation and charging of the device.

On the inside, each earphone has a microphone.

The earbuds are in two halves. The inner half has charging zones and L and R badges.

The parts that are inside neatly pass into oblong sound guides. They are protected with special nets, and there is a small ledge for high-quality fastening. The headphone case is made of nice black plastic. The case is relatively compact, so it can be safely carried in any pocket. Well, on the back, as is customary, a Type-C charging connector is designed.

Ease of use Kinera YH623

The comfort of wearing headphones is undoubtedly one of the most important factors when choosing a TWS model. Most often, these headphones are used for sports, running, fitness and so on. Accordingly, the headphones must fit snugly in the ears and not fall off during sudden movements. Fortunately, the Kinera YH623 are great for this. The shape is so good that there is no need for the additional clips that are present in similar sports headphones. On the plus side, it is IPX5 waterproof, so you don't have to worry about sweat or bad weather.

The controls of the Kinera YH623 are also superbly crafted. The headphones are activated by themselves automatically when the case is opened. It should be said right away that it is not so easy to get an earpiece, you have to get used to it and look for your own “style”. After you take out the headphones, they sync and connect to a known source or start looking for other possible ones. To use the mono headset function, you just need to take out one earbud. This is undeniably convenient if you are driving a car.

The brand did not provide an additional application. The control is carried out by special sensors:

Act Function
One touch play / pause
Right earbud two touches change song or answer / reject a call
Left ear two touches return the previous track.
Holding the right earbud increase the volume
Hold the left earbud decrease the volume
Three touches call a voice assistant

Do not be afraid of such, at first glance, complex management. You get used to everything very quickly and start doing it automatically.

Kinera YH623 sound review

I will say right away that when reviewing the Kinera YH623, the sound turned out to be much better than I could have expected. The frequency response turned out with powerful bass, reduced mid frequencies (MF) and balanced high frequencies (HF) - it is thanks to this that the sound does not cut ears with a sharp drop. Despite the falloff, the midrange is well developed and detailed, sounding very lively. The treble is also perfectly detailed, sounding like 3D.

I especially want to highlight the wonderful "stage" and separation of instruments when listening to music. You don't expect this from TWS headphones!

In short, you can call these headphones "pumping". They will appeal to fans of electronic music and even instrumental. Heavy music won't be so bright here.

Noise Canceling (ANC) Kinera YH623

The model is equipped with a Qualcomm QCC3020 chip, so there is cVc 8.0 digital noise reduction. Of course, it's silly to compare the YH623 with the same giants from Sony in the context of isolation, but the noise is really getting much less.

The disadvantage of the headset is its microphones, although this is typical for TWS models. The interlocutor hears you as if you are speaking on a speakerphone from another room, and echoes and constant “repeat” become the norm.

Autonomy of work

Both earbuds received 50 mAh batteries. According to Kinera, the headphones will be able to maintain performance for 8 hours without recharging. In fact, when reviewing the Kinera YH623, they managed 6 hours from the declared ones. However, we note that this figure is quite good for TWS headphones. The charging case is enough for 3 more full charges of your headset.

Charging Quick Charge 2.0 in 15 minutes will give you the opportunity not to worry about the battery for about 2 hours!

The signal is also excellent. There were no particular failures. Only if you move 10 meters away or into another room, the connection will start to junk and get lost.

Results of the Kinera YH623 review

Even after a full review, it is not easy to unequivocally give an answer about buying a Kinera YH623.There are many well-known models from more popular brands, but at the same time, hordes of cheap models from China are flooding the market. So far, the Kinera YH623 only plays speed, so it does not belong to either type or the second. These headphones are ideal for lovers of high-quality sound at a low cost ($ 80). For TWS, the YH623 is perfectly pumped, they work with the aptX codec, there is digital noise reduction and IPX5 moisture protection.

The main advantage is the design and battery life. These are truly the strengths of the headphones, even when compared to the bigger brands!

  • High quality sound. For this type of headphone, the Kinera YH623 has balanced and detailed sound. Moreover, with support for aptX;
  • Comfort. They fit perfectly in the ears, do not fall out even with sudden movements and sports;
  • Introduced protection against water according to the IPX5 standard;
  • Great running time.

  • Brand. It is not popular and few people know about it at all, so the uninitiated may not dare to buy the Kinera YH623.
